Can you cater to allergies?
All BKED. products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. Some flavours contain hazelnut. While every care is taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please ensure guests are informed of any potential allergen risks prior to your event.
How do I place an order?
Submit an enquiry through our website with your event date, size, flavour, and design ideas. From there, we'll guide you through the design and booking process.
How far in advance should I place my order?
We recommend enquiring as early as possible — particularly for weddings and large events. We are currently taking bookings up to 12 months in advance. Availability is intentionally limited each week to ensure every cake receives the care it deserves. A minimum of 2 weeks' notice is required for all orders, subject to availability.
Where are you located?
Collection is available from Rochedale, QLD 4123. The full address is provided upon order confirmation. Collection hours are Saturday and Sunday mornings, 7:00am – 9:00am.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is available within Brisbane and surrounds for an additional cost, subject to availability. Details will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Can I order a fondant cake?
BKED. cakes are finished in Swiss meringue buttercream or ganache. Fondant figurines and custom details are available on request.
Do you require a deposit?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event date.
Can I make changes to my order?
Changes to design or flavour must be requested at least 14 days prior to your event date and may incur additional charges. All change requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.
How should I store my cake?
Cakes should be stored in a cool, air-conditioned environment or refrigerator, away from direct sunlight, until serving.
Do you use fresh flowers on cakes?
Fresh and dried florals are available on request. Please note that florals are not food-grade and are prepared with care, though a contamination risk cannot be excluded.
